The Iganga University Students and Youth Association (IUSYA) is a non-governmental, voluntary membership-based youth organization registered in Uganda since 2017. Formed by a group of university students in Iganga District, IUSYA works to uplift vulnerable and marginalized populations through grassroots youth leadership.
Our programs address critical challenges such as lack of access to sexual and reproductive health education, youth unemployment, gender-based exclusion, and the impacts of climate change. We work directly in schools, communities, and partner networks to deliver sustainable programs at scale.
Our work is governed by a leadership team of experienced volunteers, each trained in development work, monitoring and evaluation, financial accountability, and ethical implementation. We are committed to data-backed, community-informed solutions that create measurable social change.
Empowering Youth, Transforming Communities.
Guiding over 10,000 + underserved young people through Education, Health awareness, and skills training creating ripple effects that transform entire communities.

If we don't Act Now ! Another generation could be left behind.
We believe in achieving sustainable, community-led outcomes and we recognize that students and young people are essential to turning this vision into reality.
Guided by this belief, we built IUSYA to give back to our communities, lead progress and empower the next generation.
We support the youth become the change they wish to See.
No one should feel powerless because of their background, tribe, ability, or gender.
At IUSYA, we confront exclusion through empowerment. We exist to Unite, Equip, and Amplify young people's voices across Uganda especially those who are often overlooked.

We are creating a ripple
effect of sustainable
community change.
